The Top 50 Country Hits In 1985 When The Jays Played Their Last ALCS Game 7

Your Toronto Blue Jays play Game 7 tonight in the American League Championship Series against the Seattle Mariners.

Shane Bieber is scheduled to get the pitching start for Toronto.

The last time the Jays played in a Game 7 was on October 16th, 1985 when they hosted the Kansas City Royals who beat the Jays 6-2 at their then homefield of Exhibition Stadium.

I was 19-years-old then working at CKPE-FM “Cape Country Radio” in Sydney.

The radio station carried the Jays and Montreal Expos games back then and on that Wednesday night I was the broadcast operator for that Jays game.

Let’s hope the Toronto Blue Jays are on the winning side of their second-ever ALCS Game 7.

By the way, these were the Top 50 Country Hits from October 6th, 10 days before that 1985 Jays game and the number one song was from Conway Twitty “Between Blue Eyes and Jeans” that I counted down then back in the day every Friday evening on the radio.
