Brad Marchand Comes Home From NHL To Help A Friend: See his VIDEO

Brad Marchand took a leave of absence from the Florida Panthers of the NHL to help out here at home.

He and a few friends coached at a game last night at the Halifax Forum helping out a longtime friend JP MacCallum and his family after the passing of their daughter Selah who lost her cancer battle at just 10 years of age last Friday, Brad saying she was sick for a long time, but was a fighter.

The friends stepped up and coached the U 18 March and Mill Co Hunters against the Halifax Macs that allowed JP to remain at home with his family at this very emotional time.

More than a thousand people showed up at the Halifax Forum on Wednesday night to support the family.
