Halifax Thunderbirds Played Milestone Game On Saturday

The Halifax Thunderbirds beat the Rochester Knighthawks 15-10 here in the Nest on Saturday night with 9,875 here for the East Coast Kitchen Party!
The Thunderbirds wore special Nova Scotia tartan colours jerseys that will be auctioned off for the team’s charity. Details on their website.
Saturday’s match was the Thunderbirds 100th milestone game since moving to Halifax in 2019!
Heather Rankin sounded the siren with QEII Champion Alex at the start of the game.
Jake Withers of the T-Birds, who scored the first goal in franchise history, hit 100 NLL career points on the weekend and also surpassed 2,400 faceoff wins. Congrats Wizz!
The Thunderbirds are on the road in Vancouver this Friday night and back in the Nest for the last game of the regular season April 18th against the Ottawa Black Bears for Fan Appreciation Night.
