Meghan Patrick is known as the TOUGH GIRL of Country. And part of that is her fault; she has intentionally kept walls up to keep herself from getting hurt.
But the pandemic changed everything. 2020 was a hard year for ALL of us, and Meghan was no exception. She was SUPPOSED to have her first headlining tour, she was SUPPOSED to tour with Old Dominion AND her boyfriend, Mitchell Tenpenny. She was SUPPOSED to have her big moment at The Junos – something she dreamed about for…well…EVER!
Nothing happened the way it was “supposed” to, and Meghan went to an emotionally dark place as a result.
Meghan has never been one to back down when the going gets tough, but the pandemic forced her to accept that she can’t always be the ‘walls up’ tough girl everyone thinks she is. And in learning to be vulnerable, she found an even greater strength.
