Yesterday, Popeyes Chicken FINALLY gave Haligonians what they have been waiting for: deep fried convenience!! After a TON of buzz, the fast food joint opened in Hogan Court (Bedford) at 11am SHARP on Wednesday. Popeyes was EXPECTING the opening to be intense – they hired extra security just for the crowd control – but even THEY could not have predicted this: OR THIS: OR, the fact that they actually would have to close early:

ARE WE REALLY THAT EXCITED ABOUT FRIED CHICKEN?!?!?!
