In one of the more weird things you’ll ever see at a ball game, Toronto’s right fielder was on the wrong side of ‘friendly fire’:

Un fanático desde las gradas en Baltimore tiró una pelota al dominicano Jesús Sánchez golpeándolo y esto provocó que tuviera que salir de juego.

UPDATE: OF Jesús Sánchez was removed from today's game with a right wrist contusion.

He underwent precautionary X-rays that were negative for a fracture.
So, what exactly happened?
Well, here is Sanchez in his own words:
Blue Jays outfielder Jesus Sanchez said the throw from the stands that hit him in the wrist was a “misunderstanding.” pic.twitter.com/EegMj4M3l2

It’s unknown at this point how many games, if any, Sanchez will be out for.
But this is the *last* thing this team needs at this point with all the other injuries!
