Part of Hwy 103 closed near Clearland after multi‑vehicle crash

Highway 103 is closed between Exit 10 and Exit 11 near Clearland in Lunenburg County after a collision.

The closure is in place while emergency crews respond, according to the RCMP’s social media post.

Mahone Bay and District Fire reported that the crash involving multiple vehicles resulted in entrapment at about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The department said Martins River Fire and Blockhouse Fire also responded, along with RCMP and EHS.

LifeFlight was also called to the scene, according to officials.

Traffic is being rerouted around the closure, and police are asking drivers to avoid the area.

No information about injuries or the cause of the crash has been released.
