The cancer survivor set out from Newfoundland on May 17 to take the same journey as Terry Fox did on his Marathon of Hope.
Strang is expected to dip his foot into the Pacific Ocean on Thursday.
Funds will be donated to the IWK and the Terry Fox Foundation.
