Canada landed a huge, historic win Thursday night, when they beat Qatar 6-0 in Vancouver in the FIFA World Cup.
It was Canada’s first-ever win in the tournament.
Jacob Shaffelburg, 26, from Port Williams, helped score a goal Thursday night with a deflection to make it 5-0 for Canada against Qatar in the 75th minute.
It was mere minutes before Jonathan David scored a hat trick to bring it to a 6-0 win.
