A Halifax Thunderbirds fan favourite has announced his retirement.
Stephen Keogh has hung up his jersey and stick after thirteen seasons in the National Lacrosse League and three NLL titles.
In 176 career NLL games he had 257 goals and 252 assists for 509 points, along with 615 loose balls.
Happy retirement and enjoy your time now with your family, Stephen, thanks for the memories in The Nest, you’ll be missed by Nest Nation.

Since 1997, he has been the Public Address Announcer for the Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL with over 1,100 games announced, and since 2024, has been the Voice of the Halifax Thunderbirds of the National Lacrosse League in “The Nest.”
Spending time with his wife and two boys is his favourite thing to do.
