Big drop in Halifax gas prices

Some relief for your wallet if you need to gas up on Wednesday morning.

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board has used its interrupter clause to bring down fuel prices.

They’ve dropped by more than 7 cents per litre overnight in the Halifax area.

The price you’ll see for regular self-serve and diesel is now $1.31.

The regulator says the change is because the price of oil has gone down.
