A new report shows rent prices in Nova Scotia continued to soar in January.
According to stats released by Rentals.ca, rents in HRM went up 14.5 per cent from January of 2023.
The average rental price in Halifax for a two-bedroom unit has jumped to just over $2400.
Despite the big jump, Halifax is 14th on the list of Canadian cities with the highest rental costs.
