You’ll need a little more change to get across the harbour beginning on Tuesday.
Halifax Harbour Bridges states they will delay implementing the toll increase by a day. It was originally set to take effect on Monday, January 3.
The toll for both the MacDonald and MacKay bridges is going up to $1.25.
If you have a MacPass it will cost $1.00 – that’s up from 0.80 cents.
The increased revenue will be used for maintenance, upgrades and for an upcoming major project on the MacKay.
