We’ll start with Rock & Roll Hall of Famer ~ Linda Ronstadt who is celebrating her 80th birthday today!! In addition to her own stellar career, and in a way started the formation of the Eagles as the original Eagles members, Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Randy Meisner and Bernie Leadon were all members of Ronstadt’s backing band. They gelled so well they continued to play together forming The Eagles!

Taylor Kinney is 45 and is Lieutenant Severide on “Chicago Fire”. 

Forest Whitaker is 65 today! He is Zuri in Marvel Studios Black Panther!!

Terry O’Quinn is 74.  John Locke on “Lost”

What happened on this day in History:

We travel back in history to 86 year’s to 1940, when the Tallest Man in History, Robert Wadlow, died at age 32.  At his death, he was 8 Feet, 11 Inches tall, and weighed nearly 500 Pounds.  When he was in kindergarten, Robert was 5-foot-6.  By the time he was 18, he was 8-foot-4 and wore Size 37 Shoes. 

In music, it was 40 years ago in 1986, when Columbia Records foolishly cut ties with Johnny Cash

In movies, 38 years ago in 1988, the first “Die Hard” was released. Yes it’s a Christmas movie. 😉 

Also in movies, 28 years ago in 1998, “There’s Something About Mary” was released. 

20 years ago – In 2006, Twitter was released to the public. 

And it was 10 years ago – In 2016, “Stranger Things” debuted on Netflix.
