Dartmouth General Radiothon hoping to raise record $200K

Although 2025 was an all-time record for the Dartmouth General Hospital Radiothon fundraiser, they want to outdo themselves once again.

Last year saw $195,000 dollars donated to help with several pieces of equipment.

Now, they are hoping to hit the big $200,000.

According to Stephen Harding, CEO and president of the Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation, that will go toward heart monitors for the emergency room.

“This year we’re raising money for the emergency department, something that resonates with everyone. Everyone has a family member or knows someone who’s been to the emerge.”

He adds that the population is booming, and more housing is going up all the time, and along with that, more people will end up needing health care.

“All of these people are going to be coming to the Dartmouth General. We need to give them the tools they need to really deliver exceptional care.”

Harding visited the Surge 105.1 and Country 103.5 office on Tuesday to reveal that the radiothon will happen Oct. 29.
