DFO has arrested four people after finding more than 40 lobsters on a boat that were smaller than legally allowed.
In a social media post, they say it happened May 31 at the Saulnierville wharf.
DFO seized the vessel, 40 lobster traps, and two crates and 76 lobsters.
Of those, 46 were under the legal size requirement, according to DFO, and they released those ones back into the ocean.
They say that requirement is important because the lobsters are more likely to have given birth once they reach that size.
