Does Concert Etiquette Apply At The Movie Theatre?

If you’re watching a concert at a movie theatre…do you treat it like being at a concert OR like a movie?

That question has popped up after the debut of the Taylor Swift concert film at movie theatres across the world. ‘Swifties’ are having a great time and are singing and dancing to the music. But, that has brought up the argument of “You’re in a movie theatre, treat it like a movie”.

Personally, I’ve gone to a few concerts that were shown at Cineplex (KISS Rocks Vegas, Queen: Hungarian Rhapsody) and I was not up and dancing…but can you blame them?
