A house has significant damage after catching fire Monday in Lower Sackville.
According to the Halifax Professional Fire Fighters, crews arrived on scene just before 6 p.m. on Cobequid Road.
The union says flames started on the deck and extended onto the house and started to spread into nearby trees.
As of 7:30 p.m., the situation was brought under control.
No official word on the cause or any injuries.
