If you’ve ever been to Nashville there’s a good chance you may have noticed a mural that features several country music legends like Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks and George Strait. If you haven’t seen the mural it’s located at 428 Broadway in Nashville that’s been there over a decade.
Now you’ll see Toby Keith on that mural, holding out a red solo cup, totally appropriate as his song Red Solo Cup was a huge party song released October 10, 2011.
Toby Keith has several hits over his career including his debut song from 1993 Should’ve Been a Cowboy followed by How Do You Like Me Now that climbed to number one and from there on Toby Keith became, a legendary country music artist, achieving 20 number one hits from 1993 to 2011, and 22 top 10 hits, spanning a career of over three decades. His music continues to live on and inspire new country music artists.
Toby Keith passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 62, after a two-year battle with stomach cancer. Toby’s passing left behind his wife Tricia Covel and his three kids, Shelley, Krystal and Stelen along with several grandchildren.
