Former Halifax Mooseheads Player Loses Child In Tragic Accident

Some sad news, former Mooseheads player Luca Ciampini and his wife Arielle have suffered the unimaginable, the loss of their 3-year-old daughter, Ava, in a tragic accident.

As Luca and Arielle grieve while caring for their baby boy, Milan, the hockey community has come together to take one weight off their shoulders raising funds to help cover Ava’s funeral and memorial expenses, and to support the family through the hardest chapter of their lives.

Luca played here in Halifax between 2010 and 2014 and was a part of the Herd’s 2013 championship team.

Hugs from Moose Country to # 48 and family, we’re thinking about you all.
