Halifax police seize $1M in stolen vehicles, charge man

A man has been charged after Halifax Regional Police recovered $1 million in stolen, re-vinned vehicles.

The investigation began over a year ago into the trafficking of stolen vehicles into Nova Scotia from Alberta.

The suspect, a 41-year-old man was stopped in March, 2023 in a stolen vehicle, and a pound of cocaine was seized.

He was charged again in March of this year.

The man will appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date.
