Nova Scotians are being asked how prepared they are for an emergency.
The Department of Emergency Management has launched an online survey to better understand how ready residents are for events such as storms, wildfires and power outages.
The survey asks about people’s level of emergency preparedness and their awareness of emergency communication channels.
The province says the feedback will help guide future emergency planning, communications and response efforts.
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete.
Responses will be kept confidential and reported only in aggregate.
The research is being managed by MQO Research, an accredited agency member of the Canadian Research Insights Council.
