HRM would like to know if you would like one membership for all recreational facilities in the city.
It would mean you would have access to all municipally owned and operated facilities as well as all multi-district facilities.
Cole Harbour Place, Canada Games Centre, Sportsplex and more are included.
The motion was brought to Regional Council in August 2024 and was brought back again in February by Councillor Sam Austin.
On Austin’s blog he says he was concerned it was not being made a priority, so he made a motion to generate a report.
“I was worried that it was really just sitting on the side of someone’s desk in the ‘will get to’ pile. It was time for Council to look under the hood of this one,” says Austin.
A survey is now open until Monday, June 30.
