In case you missed it…the “rumour mill” was stirring a bit on Halloween about the 3rd Costco location that will open in Nova Scotia:

“Here is what the rumour mill has reported on the location of the new Costco.
The new Costco with gas bar will be an extremely large Costco located in Middle Sackville close to where a new section of the highway is being built. Correction- Exit 2 with the new Hammonds Plain link.
Halifax store is getting a major redo. Dartmouth Crossing will be Dartmouth Crossing. There will be NO business center. Remember this is from the rumour mill. All of this is subject to permits from the city, etc., etc. I will correct as necessary. This is the information I have so far. SUBJECT TO CHANGE.”
So, plenty to take in there. Here are the takeaways:
- The new location will be in the HRM near Middle Sackville.
- It won’t be a business center Costco (Which is slightly different than BL and DC)
- GAS BAR!
- Bayers Lake will be getting some renovations in the near future.
We’ll see if this all plays out in the near future…or we’ll see what the next rumour is!
