Diesel prices are up again across Nova Scotia after the province’s fuel interrupter clause was used.
The Nova Scotia Energy Board increased the minimum price of diesel by 6.2 cents Tuesday.
That brings the price from 204.0 cents per litre to 210.2.
It is the second fuel price increase in the province in four days.
Last week, the board changed both gas and diesel prices as tensions between the U.S. and Iran raised concerns around the Strait of Hormuz, a key oil shipping lane.
Diesel saw the bigger jump at that time, rising by nearly 10 cents.
Fuel prices are also much higher than this time last year.
Last July, Nova Scotians were paying 145.9 cents per litre for gas and 160.4 for diesel.
