Local Author Vernon Oickle Called Ian to Chat About His New Books

Do you have a hangnail or have had a bad sunburn.? Have an upset stomach, or have you suffered an insect bite that won’t stop itching?

Well, Liverpool, Nova Scotia author Vernon Oickle has collected the folklore of yesteryear and home health care remedies, that were once common and reliable cures and put them into a new book that’s out now on store shelves.

Above: The three book set “The Home Sweet Home Nova Scotia Collection” and Grandma’s Home Remedies, A Collection of Tried-and-True Nova Scotian Cures.

Vernon has also just released “The Home Sweet Home Nova Scotia Collection” a box set, that’s very educational for both children and adults.
