Lower Sackville man charged with child luring

A 54-year-old Lower Sackville man has been charged with child luring following an RCMP investigation that began earlier this summer.

Police say the investigation was launched in July after receiving information that a man had allegedly been communicating online with a minor for a sexual purpose.

As part of the investigation, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Langevin Drive on Sept. 9. RCMP seized electronic devices from the residence for further examination.

The man was later charged with child luring.

He is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court in October.
