Lower Sackville Man Airlifted to Hospital After Collision on Hwy 101

A 43-year-old Lower Sackville man is in hospital with serious injuries after a colllision in Mount Uniacke.

East Hants RCMP say yesterday at around 3pm, RCMP, fire and EHS responded to the crash.

The driver lost control of the Hyundai Elantra when exiting Highway 101 at exit 3.

They went through the intersection, across the Mount Uniacke connector and came to rest on the ramp for the 101.

The driver and sole occupant was transported to hospital by LifeFlight.

The investigation is ongoing.
