Man arrested after October crash in Halifax

A 35-year-old man has been charged in relation to a serious collision on Hwy. 102 that left three people injured.

RCMP say a Toyota Echo and Jeep Wrangler crashed head on in late October near Miller Lake, but the driver of the car left the scene.

Police had received earlier reports of the same car speeding on Windmill Road and Hwy 118.

On Tuesday, officers arrested a man at a hotel on Kearney Lake Road.

He appeared in court this week and was remanded into custody.

He’ll return to court Tuesday.
