A man is in police custody in relation to an assault on a paramedic.
Around 10:30am yesterday morning officers responded to a report of an assault in progress in the 5500 block on Cogswell street.
Police say the man struck one of the paramedics with his hands then stabbed him with a syringe before fleeing the area on foot.
46 year old Trevor James Lunn was arrested this morning and is scheduled to appear in court today.
