A man is dead after being hit by a car in Dartmouth.
Police say it was around 7:05 a.m in the intersection of Victoria Road and Chappel Street while he was in a marked crosswalk.
The 72-year-old was taken to hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
The driver, a 30-year-old man, was issued a summary offence ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
