A man is recovering after he was shot in Dartmouth on Friday night.
He was walking in the Southdale area when he heard sounds similar to fireworks but it turns out bullets were flying in his direction.
Police say the man was hit and made his way to the Dartmouth General Hospital for treatment.
His injuries are described as non-life threatening.
No arrests were made.
