Man injured in Halifax shooting

Police are investigating a shooting in the north end of Halifax that left a man injured.

According to an HRP release, just after 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to a report of an injured person in the area of the 5800 block of Duffus Street.

They located a 39-year-old man who had been shot. He was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say a dark-coloured SUV was seen in the area at the time of the incident.
