A man was taken to hospital with what are believed to be serious injuries after he was hit by a car in a marked crosswalk in the south end of Halifax.
Police say it happened around 8:10 p.m., Tuesday, in the area of LeMarchant and South Streets.
The driver, a 35-year-old woman was issued a summary offence ticket.
The collision remains under investigation.
