Nantucket Avenue closed after pedestrian hit in Dartmouth

Nantucket Avenue in Dartmouth is closed, Wednesday afternoon, after pedestrian was hit by a car.

Details are few.

Police say they are asking the public to avoid the area and take an alternate route.
