Plane lands in lake near Halifax Airport

A small plane has made an emergency landing on a small island in the middle of a lake near the Halifax Stanfield International Airport.

The Cessna 206 ran into, what appears to be, engine troubles and the pilot, a Vancouver man, brought it down on Turf Lake.

He waited for emergency crews to arrive, and walked away from the aircraft without any injuries.
