Update: Dartmouth intersection open after pedestrian injured in collision

A pedestrian has been seriously hurt after a collision involving a vehicle at a Dartmouth intersection.

On X, Halifax Regional Police say it happened Monday morning at Victoria Road and Chappel Street.

An adult pedestrian suffered life threatening injuries.

Police closed the intersection to traffic around 7:30 a.m. to investigate.

In an update just after 9 a.m., HRP said the intersection has reopened.
