There is a police presence in Lower Sackville Friday night after a report of an armed man.
RCMP say the report came in around 4:30 p.m., about a man on First Lake Dr who claimed to have a firearm.
Officers searched the area but did not find the man or gun but are staying in the area as a precaution.
The man is described as being in his 50’s, with a white beard, wearing a grey hoodie.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
