Police: Teen hit with fine after car travels 138 km on Highway 111

They say her car was clocked at 138 km/h in an 80 zone just after 7 a.m. on Monday.

The 19-year-old was given a ticket worth more than $2,400. She also saw six points assigned to her driving record.

She was issued a ticket for having no insurance.

The woman has been suspended from driving for one week and her car has been impounded.
