UPDATE: Power has been restored to the area.
Currently 2,627 customers in the Windsor area are without power, according to the Nova Scotia Power Outage Map.
The cause is currently unknown and being investigated.
Officials say the outage was reported just after 8 a.m., and that it should be restored later this morning around 11:45.
