Province plans housing developments in HRM

More land has been awarded for housing developments in the HRM.

The province says the Affordable Housing Association of Nova Scotia will develop 106 mixed-market units, 42 of them affordable on Sackville Drive in Middle Sackville.

In the Westphal area of Dartmouth, Metro Premier Properties plans to create 300 units, 136 affordable on Broom Road.

The land was awarded through the provincial ‘Land for Housing’ program.

Both are currently in the design phase.
