Residents were asked to avoid Herring Cove Road on Thursday due to a police investigation.
The Guns and Gangs Unit executed a search warrant at a home in the 400 block, near Levis Street, just before 9:30 p.m.
Officers were stationed in the area while the investigation was carried out.
Police say there was no threat to public safety.
