Man arrested for impaired driving in Lower Sackville

The RCMP says they arrested a man for alcohol-impaired driving in Lower Sackville.

According to a release from the Mounties, at about 2 a.m. on October 11th, an officer stopped a vehicle on Old Sackville Road near Twelve Mile House Lane after it failed to yield and turned left.

Police say the 31-year-old driver showed signs of impairment.

He failed a roadside screening test and then at the detachment, blew over the limit.

The man was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court.
