RCMP fine two more people for violating Health Protection Act

Two more people are facing fines under the Health Protection Act.

RCMP say a man was handed a ticket on Monday for not wearing a mask in a public place after they were called to a business on Sackville Drive in Lower Sackville at around 3 p.m.

In a separate incident on Monday night, police stopped a vehicle on Memory Lane in Musquodoboit Harbour at around 11:30 p.m.

They say the driver was from Indian Brook and she was charged under the act for non-essential travel outside of her municipality.

The tickets for both offences each carry a more than $2,400 fine.
