Slick roads, several crashes being reported in Halifax

Light snowfall in Halifax on Wednesday is causing slick roads throughout the city.

Reports to our newsroom indicate the morning commute has been icy and slow.

Traffic maps show several crashes and slowdowns throughout the region, including on the MacKay Bridge and Windmill Road.

Highways 102 and 103 also reported crashes earlier this morning.

Up to 4 cm of snow is expected to fall.
