On Hot Country mornings with Jody & Melody, in Sports we shared with you that it has been 32 years, on this day in 1993, that the Blue Jays won the World Series!

The Toronto Blue Jays will host the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 of the World Series Friday night! Go Jays Go!

Congratulations to Colten Ellis from Cape Breton who got the call to start in nets for the Buffalo Sabres game last night vs the Detroit Red Wings and he backstopped the Sabres for a 4-2 win stopping 27 shots in his NHL debut, getting 1st Star, 1st win in his first game!! Plus an interview from retired NHL goalie star Henrik Lundqvist!! Well done Colten!!
