Yesterday I made O negative blood donation number 66 at Canadian Blood Services over on Bayers Road in Halifax.
Currently, there’s an “emergent level” as they are low on all blood types here in Nova Scotia and across Canada as the blood supply has decreased nearly 20% since June.

With summer vacations donations are typically low, but this summer, they are critically low.
Only 7 percent of us Canadians are O negative, a small percentage with a huge impact.
No matter what type you are, your donation is appreciated and you can save up to three lives with one donation.

It takes about an hour plus; the treats are a huge bonus! ![]()
Thanks to my nurses Stephanie and Kristal.
