A trio of beaches in the Halifax Regional Municipality have reopened just in time for the weekend.
Shubie Park Beach, Lake Echo Beach, and Saunders Beach all closed earlier this week due to high bacteria levels in the water, but after frequent testing officials say the water is safe to swim in again.
the beaches will be great way to beat the heat this weekend with temperatures ranging as high as 28 degrees on Saturday and 24 on Sunday.
