Tractor rear-ended by Tractor Trailer

A man has serious injuries after a tractor trailer rear-ended a utility trailer.

RCMP are investigating the collision that occurred Tuesday around 8 p.m. in Fall River on Hwy. 118 near Exit 14.

According to police, both vehicles were travelling northbound when the tractor trailer rear-ended a John Deer tractor driving at a lower speed.

The 25-year-old Stillwater Lake man was ejected from the tractor upon the impact of the collision.

He was transported by ambulance to the hospital with serious injuries.

A 43-year-old Dartmouth man driving the tractor trailer was not injured.

RCMP officers, paramedics and fire services, including EHS LifeFlight attended the scene.
