A woman was arrested for impaired driving after crashing a car into Lake Banook in Dartmouth on Saturday morning.
According to police, all three people in the vehicle escaped after it plunged into the water.
Police located the driver who was arrested and identified as a 22-year-old woman. She is facing charges of Operation of a Conveyance while Impaired and will appear in provincial court in Dartmouth at a later date.
Prince Albert Road was closed briefly near Lake Banook while the vehicle was removed.
